Babies change so quickly and in only a few weeks you will be looking back, amazed at the tiny features and the little newborn that is already growing too fast. My children are 5 and 3 and I often look back at their newborn photos, looking at the little details that have changed, and some that are still so similar today.
What happens at a newborn photoshoot?
Newborn photoshoots are tailored to your baby’s comfort and safety. Sessions typically last from 2 - 3 hours, allowing time for feeding, cuddles, and plenty of patience. You can sit back, relax and enjoy watching the process as I work with your baby to create beautiful images.

What should I wear?
I recommend wearing neutral colours that complement each other. Avoid bold patterns, designs and logos. This helps keep the focus on your family's expressions and interactions.
What is the best time for Newborn Photography?
The best time for Newborn Photography is within two weeks of your baby's birth. Newborns are still very sleepy during this period, making them easier to pose safely and comfortably in those adorable, cozy positions. It’s also when they’re at their smallest, allowing us to highlight all those tiny details—like little toes and sweet cheeks—that make newborn photos so special. I have photographed babies aged from 7 days to 6 weeks old. After the 6 week mark I would recommend a Milestone Photography Session.
